The new menu on board SWISS is inspired by traditional and gourmet recipes made with fresh ingredients available in the respective Indian regions. It caters for the distinctive Indian and global palette and is introduced in all travel classes on board as of June 07, 2018.

We have created distinctive meals that reflect the cultures and history from different regions and are proud to offer our customers a dining experience on board.”
The new SWISS inflight menu
The menu introduced across First, Business and Economy Class offers a selection of starters, main course and desserts. For SWISS First Class guests, the menu offers a selection of several starters such as Samosa with Mint Chutney; Lobster Slice with Beetroot Mayo and a choice of three main courses that include Roast Lamb leg Forestier with Parsley Baby Potato, Carrot Batons and Creamy spinach; Pan Seared Seabass with Grilled Zuccini, Herb Rice and Chunkey Tomato Sauce; Mattar Badam Ki Tikki with Olive Kofta, Methi Gajar, Rainbow Pulao, Dal Tadka, Raddish Anar Raita and Gobhi Parantha. For dessert, they can relish on in house Ice Cream with Fresh Fruit Compote and Berry Sauce
SWISS Business Class travellers can enjoy authentic Indian starters and snacks such as Khandavi on a bed of Fruit Salsa on Banana Leaf; Chana Pindi Wrap and Smoked Pumpkin Soup. For dessert, they can have Beetroot Halwa and Fruit Tart to choose from.
The meals in SWISS Economy Class comprises a selection of warm starter like Chicken Stroganoff and Makhani Veg wraps. The main course offer Mysore Masala Dosa with Carrot Green Peas Upma and mini Uttapam. Western meal comprises of options like Cheese Omelette with Spinach in White Sauce, Cocktail Sausage and Potato Cutlet.
In all classes, there will be a selected variety of international meals as well. Furthermore, SWISS distinguishes between day and night flights. This means, a hot snack is served when taking off after midnight in India as passengers are often tired and prefer an extended breakfast before landing in Zurich.
First allergy-friendly airline and special menus
SWISS is the first and only allergy-friendly airline worldwide which has earned the quality seal of approval from the European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation (ECARF). SWISS passengers can be certain when flying with the airline that all efforts have been made to combat the presence of allergens in consideration of their wellbeing. It comes without saying that SWISS serves special meals for diabetics, vegans, gluten or lactose-intolerant guests and for those with food allergies and certain religious beliefs that can be pre-ordered.
SWISS, the airline of Switzerland, is also ‘made of Switzerland’ and offers high quality standards and Swissness on board not only when it comes to service but also by offering exclusive Swiss products. Passengers can take along the country’s typical taste with Swiss cheeses such as Gruyère, Appenzeller, Tête de Moine or enjoy original Swiss Mövenpick ice cream as a snack while watching a movie. The signature Swiss chocolate tablet is part of every SWISS flight.
