A foyer as open as the company itself: The newly designed entrance area of the Lufthansa Group is modern, transparent, digital and full of possibilities. According to Lufthansa Group CEO Carsten Spohr, the reconstruction of the foyer is only the beginning of bringing new life to the LAC. "There's more to come," said Spohr at the opening on Thursday. Just as the Lufthansa Group is becoming more modern, faster and less complex, the LAC is also becoming more modern, faster and simpler. After all, the LAC is also a flagship of the Lufthansa Group.
"The newly designed foyer invites you to spend time here," says Niklas Führer, project manager of the conversion, pleased. "Even though I know this project inside out, I'm overwhelmed." The conversion took less than 70 days, more than 70 people from many trades were involved, ten kilometres of cable were laid and 2,752,512 LEDs were lit. Everything on time. Everything on budget.
