  • Lufthansa begins operation of its seventh A350, which was received at the end of last month, as of February
  • Team Germany arrives in Korea on a special flight featuring the A350

Lufthansa German Airlines, the largest airline in Europe, announced that its next-generation A350-900 aircraft began operation on the Incheon-Munich route on February 2nd. Lufthansa’s A350-900, which has made its debut in Korea with temporary service, will be in full operation on the Incheon-Munich route with the summer schedule (six times a week).

Lufthansa received its seventh A350 at the end of January, and began its operation in Korea starting in February. The world’s most modern aircraft, the A350-900, equipped with a wider cabin, large screens, and innovative mood lighting, will offer an even more pleasant on-board experience to Lufthansa’s Korean passengers. In addition, the Lufthansa A350-900 boasts an in-flight environment with a European touch, with the new Economy Class that was awarded the “German Design Award 2018” and a color scheme that creates a relaxed ambience.

Team Germany – which departed Munich yesterday (5th) and arrived in Korea this morning (6th) – flew on Lufthansa flight LH 718, featuring the new A350.

“We are pleased to introduce the A350 in Korea, and invite Korean passengers to experience the optimal in-flight environment offered by the Lufthansa A350,” said Alejandro Arias, General Manager Korea, Lufthansa Group Airlines. He then added a message of support for Team Germany, saying, “In addition, we would like to wish good luck to all the German athletes who have arrived in Korea on our latest aircraft.”
