Kerosene and Emissions 2014

Fuel consumption per passenger per 100 km drops to 3.84 litres

The airlines in the Lufthansa Group have once again set a record for efficiency: In 2014, the planes of the passenger fleets only used an average of 3.84 litres of kerosene (2013: 3.91 l/100pkm) to carry a passenger 100 kilometres. This represents an improvement of 1.6 per cent over the previous year.
