Heiko Reitz has been Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Lufthansa Airlines since March 1, 2023.

After graduating with a degree in industrial engineering from Darmstadt Technical University, Heiko Reitz began his career at Deutsche Post In-house Consulting. From 2008, he continued his consulting activities at Lufthansa Consulting. Among other things, he managed airline projects there in numerous countries worldwide.

In 2013, Heiko Reitz joined Lufthansa Airlines, where he took over as Head of the Corporate Executive Office of the CEO. He later held the same position at the Lufthansa Group, where he headed the Group Executive Board Office. In 2017, Heiko Reitz transferred to Lufthansa subsidiary Eurowings, where he was initially responsible for a project on airline cooperations. From 2018, he headed the Network Management & Airport Relations department there. Between 2020 and 2023, Heiko Reitz was responsible for the network, alliance and partner management of Lufthansa Group Hub Airlines (Lufthansa, Swiss, Austrian and Brussels Airlines), managing the deployment of around 700 aircraft and cooperation with Star Alliance, global joint venture partners and intermodal transport partners. In March 2023, he was appointed to the divisional board of Lufthansa Airlines, where he has since been responsible for Lufthansa Airlines' commercial affairs as CCO.

Heiko Reitz was born in Cologne in 1979, is married and has two children.
